How Sedilia improved sales visibility with monday.com CRM

Sedilia’s sales and contact information sat across separate boards, emails and spreadsheets. The Workflow People helped bring it together in monday.com, giving the team a clearer way to manage trade applications, quotes, orders and client relationships.

The challenge
As Sedilia’s sales activity grew, its CRM became harder to keep on top of. Trade account applications arrived by an isolated process and were added to monday.com manually once a month. Standard collection orders and bespoke commissions were tracked separately, so it was difficult to see the full sales pipeline or keep track of active quotes.
Contact records were also hard to manage with individual interior designers moving between different agencies so historical records weren’t being matched up.
Leadership had no central view of quote turnaround, pipeline conversion or marketing sources. To assess sales performance, the team relied on administratively intensive, manual offline spreadsheets.
What The Workflow People changed
The Workflow People reworked Sedilia’s monday.com CRM around the way the team handles accounts and sales activity. The project included:
Trade applications: Connected the website form to monday.com, so new applications could be captured and routed as they came in.
Sales pipeline: Brought different order types into one board, giving the team a clearer view from estimate through to production handover.
Accounts and contacts: Created a clearer structure for organisations and individual contacts, helping preserve relationship history.
Dashboards: Set up reporting on sales activity, revenue targets, quote turnaround and lead sources.
Follow-ups: Added automated follow-ups to help the team respond to applications and keep quotes moving.
The results
Capturing trade applications directly in monday.com removed the monthly backlog of manual data entry. Sedilia reported a 60% reduction in admin time and faster responses to applicants.
With all order types in one pipeline, the team could see which quotes needed input from other departments. Weekly follow-ups helped keep those quotes on track and made follow-up more consistent.
The new account and contact structure gave the team a clearer place to record notes, interactions and relationship history across organisations.
For leadership, the dashboards replaced spreadsheet updates that had taken around eight hours a month. They now have a clearer view of pipeline health, KPIs and revenue forecasts.
The CRM also gives the wider team one place to find and save information, reducing their reliance on a single person to track it down.
What Sedilia had to say
“The insight we now have from the reporting is fantastic. I’m genuinely thrilled with the result. From a value perspective, this has been money very well spent, especially when I think about what it will allow us to achieve going forward. A wonderful outcome.”
