Internal marketing teams are rarely short of work
Most marketing teams know what they planned to work on. The challenge is everything that lands on top.

A campaign suddenly becomes urgent. Someone asks for “a quick favour” on Teams. A senior stakeholder mentions something in a meeting and it quietly becomes a priority. Requests arrive through emails, messages and conversations, but not all of them make it into the plan. Before long, the team is reacting rather than prioritising, with no clear picture of what’s been committed to or whether there’s capacity to deliver it.

In this small, practical session, we’ll look at how to capture incoming requests, decide what really needs to happen and check your team’s capacity before saying yes. We’ll then show you how we’ve put that process into practice using monday.com and AI.
The aim isn’t to say no more often. It’s to make yes a decision rather than a reflex.
Four problems we’ll tackle in 45 minutes
We’ll work through four common problems, then show you a working example at the end.
1. Getting all the work into view
Most requests made of a marketing team are never documented in one central place or properly triaged. We’ll look at what that costs you, and what needs to happen for a request to become visible before it becomes a commitment.
2. Getting the right information upfront
Requests often arrive without a clear deadline, business reason or enough information to act on them. We’ll look at what you need to know before something is accepted, and how to distinguish “urgent” from genuinely business-critical.
3. Prioritising against real capacity
Saying yes to something new usually means something else has to move. We’ll look at how to make that visible before the decision is made, rather than discovering the problem two weeks later.
4. Connecting requests to the actual work
An accepted request that then sits on its own is only half captured. We’ll cover how to connect it to the campaign it belongs to, give it an owner and avoid a second round of admin.
Then we’ll show you what it looks like in practice
Once the framework is clear, Naomi will show how The Workflow People has turned it into a working marketing operations system in monday.com:

-
A request form that captures the information you actually need
-
A simple way to assess priority and capacity
-
An AI agent that connects accepted requests to the right project
-
How ownership, status and reporting flow from there

This isn’t a monday.com training session or product demo. The focus is the process. We’ll simply use monday.com and AI to show you how we’ve put it into practice.

Is this session for you?
This session is for people who own how work reaches an in-house marketing team, including:

-
Marketing Operations leaders, Marketing Directors and CMOs
-
B2B technology and professional services organisations
-
In-house marketing teams of roughly eight to fifty people that are overloaded with internal requests
-
Anyone who has to decide what the team works on next and defend that decision
A practical, interactive session
This is designed to be a practical session rather than 45 minutes of us talking at you.

There will be time to ask questions, discuss how requests are currently managed within your team and explore how the approach could work in practice. Cameras are welcome, but completely optional.

We plan to record the presentation section for future content, but not the Q&A or open discussion. We won’t include attendees in anything shared publicly without their permission.
Meet your host

Today, she works with organisations to improve the way work actually gets done by combining process design, monday.com, automation and AI.

Frequently asked questions
Is it free?
Yes. There’s no charge and no obligation afterwards.
Is it online?
Yes. We’ll send the joining details to you by email after you register.
Do I have to be on camera?
No. Cameras are encouraged because the discussion is better when people can see each other, but they’re completely optional.
Will the session be recorded?
We plan to record the presentation section for future content. We’ll stop the recording before the Q&A and open discussion, and we won’t include attendees in anything shared publicly without their permission.
Is this a monday.com sales pitch?
No, although we should be open that The Workflow People is a monday.com partner and the working example is built in monday.com. The framework comes first and applies whatever software you use.
What if we already use monday.com?
You’re very welcome. You’ll get more out of the demonstration than most, and the framework still comes first.
What if we don’t use monday.com?
That’s not a problem. We’re using monday.com to show a practical example, but the process can be applied using other tools.
What if I can’t make this date?
Tell us in the form and we’ll let you know about the next session, which is planned for November.
Who will see my details?
Only The Workflow People. Other attendees will see the display name you join with and anything you choose to share during the session. We won’t share the attendee list.
